Celebrate Pride Month with this collection of LGBTQ+ books across cultures, faiths, and identities curated by OutFront Metuchen and Metuchen Public Library.

“Unraveled” Gallery Exhibit

On display in the library’s gallery thru June 24

About the Exhibit:
The inspiration: A single thread, a ball of yarn, a bolt of fabric. The tools: A loom, a needle; a crochet hook. The result: Works of art. Sweaters, tapestry, quilts, baskets, and so much more. Join the Gallery at the Metuchen Library as we celebrate fiber art in our newest installation “Unraveled”. Artists from Metuchen and our surrounding towns are showcased in a tactile display of color, movement and form.

Exciting Changes Coming to the Children’s Room

Improvements to the Children’s Room at the Metuchen Public Library are ongoing!

The Children’s Room remains closed while work is underway. A temporary Children’s area can be located in the Lower Level Activity Room, with limited access to physical materials.

A HUGE thank you to the Friends of the Metuchen Library and our amazing community for responding to the Friends’ “Next Chapter” Fundraiser and helping make this project possible. We can’t wait to share the refreshed space with you and look forward to announcing our Grand Reopening after Memorial Day.
