“Unraveled” at the Gallery
Sunday, May 17
2:00 to 4:00pm
Please join us in welcoming the artists of the Unraveled Collection.
About the Exhibit:
The dance between hand and material. The transformation of thread, wool and cloth into a tactile narrative. The creation of art evoking comfort while pushing boundaries of form, the capture of memories, the expression of emotion into a delicate poetry of color and structure. Fiber and textile art.
We invite you to experience this from now until Jun 24, 2026.
View the art in the library’s gallery – Now thru December 13
All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Metuchen Library, which supports library programming, resources and services.

Exciting Changes Coming to the Children’s Room
Improvements to the Children’s Room at the Metuchen Public Library are ongoing!
The Children’s Room remains closed while work is underway. A temporary Children’s area can be located in the Lower Level Activity Room, with limited access to physical materials.
A HUGE thank you to the Friends of the Metuchen Library and our amazing community for responding to the Friends’ “Next Chapter” Fundraiser and helping make this project possible. We can’t wait to share the refreshed space with you and look forward to announcing our Grand Reopening after Memorial Day. Stay tuned!
