CANCELED - Book Snack
Event Details
This event has been canceled.Calling all kids in grades 2-4! Join us for an almost silent book group! Here’s how it works: Fill out a short form about a book you’re currently reading (or an old favorite) and we’ll share. You don’t have to talk, Ms. Glynis will read your form to the group if you like. Then we’ll do an activity. Finally, we’ll have a snack (provided by the library) and read our books. Didn’t bring a book? No problem! Finish your snack and browse the stacks for your next great read! There is a ten child limit for this program, so come early and sign in to secure your spot and your snack!
Parents: if your child has food allergies, please let us know a week before the program so that we can have something for her. Or feel free to bring a snack from home!
Accessibility: Our library is committed to inclusivity and accessibility. Our building is wheelchair-accessible with a modern elevator and accessible restrooms. We’ve installed hearing loops in our Community Room, and we offer T-coil receiver/headphone kits for in-library use by those with hearing loss. If you need specific accommodations, such as sign language interpretation, for any of our services, events, or activities, whether on-site or online, please reach out to us at (732) 632-8526 or email info@metuchenlibrary.org. We’re here to ensure everyone can fully enjoy their library experience.
