DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Barbara Jobin Memorial Studio Ghibli Film Festi
 val! In celebration of the service of a former library employee\, we’ll 
 be hosting showings of 24 Studio Ghibli films from March 2025 to March 202
 6. Each showing will feature a themed snack\, raffle\, or presentation. Th

 :\n\nThis historical drama written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki was orig
 inally intended to be his final feature. The film portrays a fictionalised
  account of the life of Japanese aeronautical engineer Jiro Horikoshi\, in
  particular his engineering career from his time at the University of Toky
 o in 1923 to the first test flight of the Mitsubishi Ka-14 in 1935. Juxtap
 osed with the historical events is a fictional romance of Horikoshi's\, in
 spired by the similarly-named semi-autobiographical novel The Wind Has Ris
 en by Tatsuo Hori. Rating: PG-13 for scenes of violence &amp\; gore. Runti
