Join us for our annual Makers Day celebration, where we celebrate STEAM and making culture at the library! This year’s theme is engineering and upcycling. Using kid-safe tools and cardboard, we will be challenging YOU, delightful patron of any age, to build a castle. Yep, a castle! Special challenges will be available, including building a working drawbridge and motorized cart, but the challenge will also be beginner-friendly for younger engineers. Come and build with us!

In addition, Makers Day will feature the ever-popular Sphero robot obstacle course, a 3D Printer demonstration, Magnetic Wonder Tiles in the Children’s Room, and tables from local non-profits!

No registration is required. Drop by anytime in the event window!

Email Jules at jrichards@metuchenlibrary.org with any questions!
