Event Details
Join the Metuchen-Edison Historical Society for its popular annual Local History Day. This year’s theme is Revolution! On July 4, 2026, the United States will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Come to Local History Day to see materials in the Historical Society’s collections related to the Revolutionary War and Struggle for Independence. Collections of old photographs and postcards of Metuchen and Edison, maps, and aerial photos will also be on display. This program is free and open to the public. Registration not required.
