Monday Movies: CineMusic Film Series
Event Details
Come defy gravity with CineMusic on Monday, April 21, as we screen Wicked (2024, PG, 2h 40m). In this prequel to the 1939 classic, The Wizard of Oz, “Elphaba, a young woman ridiculed for her green skin, and Galinda, a popular girl, become friends at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. After an encounter with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads.” (IMDb)
CineMusic curator, Mark A. Vasquez (@InTheGrooveMusicClub), will be hosting the evening screening and will be giving away some goodies (courtesy of @RevillaGrooves). Arrive a few minutes early to the evening screening to hear introductory remarks and to collect a ticket for the giveaway, as the screening will begin promptly at 6:00PM. (NOTE: Due to the longer run time of the film, the evening screening will start earlier than usual.)
No registration is required.
