Monday Movies: CineMusic Film Series
Event Details
Join us on Monday, April 27th as CineMusic closes out @MetuchenPublicLibrary’s Oscars movie month with a screening of Sinners (2025, R, 2h 17m). Winner of Best Actor (Michael B. Jordan), Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Cinematography at the 98th Academy Awards, Sinners tells the story of “[twin brothers] trying to leave their troubled lives behind…[by] return[ing] to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.” (IMDb)
NOTE: Without giving away the plot, please be aware that Sinners is a supernatural horror-themed film with several scenes that some may find disturbing.
CineMusic curator and In The Groove Music Club host, Mark A. Vasquez, will be hosting the evening screening and will be having a special giveaway (courtesy of new series partner @Princeton_Record_Exchange). Arrive a few minutes early to the evening screening to hear introductory remarks and to collect a ticket for the giveaway, as the screening will begin promptly at 6:15PM.
