SCREENAGERS: Documentary Film Screening & Discussion
Event Details
Join us for a Documentary Film Screening & Discussion. Screenagers is the award-winning documentary about the everyday challenges of raising healthy and happy kids who are growing up in a digital age. Through lively interviews and telling footage of pre-teens, teens, and their families, the film probes familiar questions. Does too much screen time change the way kids think? Does too much time playing video games and scrolling on social media affect mental wellness? Is there such a thing as internet addiction?
This is a family event. Adults are invited and encouraged to bring middle school and high school-aged students. The film runs 67 minutes and will be followed by a discussion with the audience.
This program is sponsored by Metuchen CARES.
