In this enlightening session, Dr. Damian Kim, a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst with over 50 years of experience, will share his deep insights into the workings of the human mind. From understanding its function to exploring ways to maintain mental health, this program offers valuable knowledge for anyone interested in fostering a healthier mind.
Bio: Dr. Damian B. Kim is a clinical assistant professor at RWJ Rutgers University Medical School Department of Psychiatry, teaching psychodynamic psychotherapy, and a senior faculty member, training and supervising psychoanalysts at the American Institute for Psychoanalysis. He worked for NYC Health and Hospital Corporation, Coney Island Hospital Department of Psychiatry, for 50 years as the Director of the Alcohol Treatment Program, Director of the Outpatient Division, and Associate Chairman. He retired from the hospital and moved to Metuchen in 2022.
