Library Card Sign-Up Month
September is officially Library Card Sign-Up Month! What better time to learn more about all the things you can do at the library? Celebrate with us by getting a library card – or renewing your expired library card.
This year we have a goal to register 100 new card holders during the month of September. Library cards are free for all Metuchen residents with proof of Metuchen address and photo ID.

Opening Reception: Sunday, September 15, 2-4pm
The Gallery at the Metuchen Library is thrilled to present Modupe Alatise Odusote’s “Vibrant Expressions.” This exhibition marries vibrant and emotive painting, mixed media work of bold colored fabric, intricate patterns, and themes inspired by the artist’s Yoruba heritage. Modupe is an America-Nigerian Artist, born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria, with works influenced by life experiences in Nigeria, the United States, and South Africa.
Chamber Music with Trio Fontēs
Saturday, September 7
2 pm – 3 pm
Trio Fontēs is comprised of violinist Yevgeniy Dyo, cellist Suji Kim, and pianist Sojung Lee, all of whom are passionate and devoted chamber music enthusiasts. Audiences will be captivated by their penetrating interpretations and warm renditions of each musical piece.
This is a free concert. All are welcome. Registration is encouraged.
