Raising awareness for equity, civil rights, and anti-racism
“You have to be fair to all of the people.” –Martin Spritzer
Martin Spritzer was an attorney, civil rights activist and community advocate who was an important figure in Metuchen’s history. Following his death in 2019, his family made a generous bequest to the Metuchen Public Library for the establishment of the Martin Spritzer Fund.
This fund has been used to create the Martin Spritzer Collection, a growing collection of books and films intended to raise awareness for equity, civil rights and anti-racism.
