Artists’ statements:

Justin Ren:
Hi, my name is Justin Ren. I am 17 years old and I go to John P. Stevens High School. I would describe myself as a creative and curious person who enjoys expressing ideas through visual art. I love to create because it helps me relax and focus. When I’m drawing, it can turn my imagination into something real, loving the feelings of fulfillment from seeing my ideas come to life.

I’m so glad to have the opportunity to exhibit my art and very excited to share my creative side with others.

Wendy Zhu:
Hello, I’m Wendy Zhu. I’m 17 years old, and a senior at John P. Stevens High School. Working on art gives me peace of mind and the ability to focus. Although there are challenges while working, seeing the beautiful finished pieces makes me think it’s worth it.

I’d like to thank the library for displaying my works, and thanks to everyone here for coming. I hope you have a great time!
