Metuchen House History Workshop (Part 2 of 3)

Do you live in a Metuchen home built before 1930 and want to know more about it? This 3-part workshop series may be for you!
Tyreen Reuter, an Architectural Historian and Metuchen-Edison Historical Society Director for over 25 years, will guide participants through an exploration of their home’s history. At the end of the three sessions, participants will be able to compile their findings into a compelling house history using available local resources, including historic images, oral histories, census records, deeds, directory listings, news articles, and more.

All sessions are from 2-4pm.

Registration is required. Spots are limited and reserved for Metuchen residents of homes built ca. 1930 or before. If you aren’t sure of your home’s construction date, please contact the email above.
Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County board of County Commissioners through a grant award from the Middlesex County Cultural and Arts Trust Fund.
