Monday Movies: CineMusic Film Series
Event Details
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, CineMusic will be screening Selena (1997, PG, 2h 7m). “The true story of Selena, a Texas-born Tejana singer who rose from cult status to performing at the Astrodome, as well as having chart-topping albums on the Latin music charts.” (IMDb)
CineMusic curator and In The Groove Music Club host, Mark A. Vasquez, will be hosting the evening screening and will be having a special giveaway (courtesy of @RevillaGrooves). Arrive a few minutes early to the evening screening to hear introductory remarks and to collect a ticket for the giveaway, as the screening will begin promptly at 6:30PM.
